The Art of Grinding in February

(copy 16)

A while ago the former Executive Board member of ThyssenKrupp, Ekkehard Schulz, wrote a book with the beautiful title "55 Reasons to become an engineer". He wants to arouse enthusiasm for what he calls the fascinating profession of engineer among boys and girls alike.

I haven't read the book yet, but as an engineer I'm still absolutely fascinated by what you can do with a good grinding machine: for example, grinding extremely precise and aesthetically pleasing products, as you can see on our February calendar page.

Why did you become a technician or engineer? Write to us. And would you also like to tell us what can be seen on the picture above?
