Mixing bowl meets grinding machine
Dear readers,
now you're probably wondering what in the world has a mixing bowl (I'm betting that all male readers know what to do with such a bowl ;)) to do with a grinding machine? Let me tell you a little bit.
Three years ago, we received the prestigious Red Dot Design Award for our flagship Multigrind® CB. We were delighted to receive this award because with the help of our design partner BUSSE Design, we succeeded in harmoniously combining high functionality and aesthetics. What you don't always trust us engineers to do, let's be honest. Company founder and owner of BUSSE Design is Rido Busse, and we are in with the mixing bowl. Rido Busse is the inventor of the legendary mixing bowl with bent rim, which not only looks appealing, but is also extremely practical to use. A real revolution at that time was this mixing bowl, which developed buses for Krups. The thing has sold millions of times, hardly a household, in which such a mixing bowl does not stand. Have a look at it at home. Professor Busse, who a few weeks ago was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit for his life's work, studied at the legendary Hochschule für Gestaltung in Ulm and founded his design office at the end of the sixties.
Busse has also been involved in the fight against product piracy for many years. In this context, he has created the Plagiarius, which is regularly awarded for particularly audacious product copies. A problem that one or the other reader will certainly know. Busse's credo is that design is not a useless cost factor, but a worthwhile investment in the entrepreneurial future, and that innovative ideas that are implemented with high quality pay off in the long term. We can only sign this.
The Multigrind® CB has established itself in the market - because of its performance as a high-tech grinding centre and perhaps also because it looks appealing. How important is design to you when it comes to technical capital goods? What is your favourite design product?
I look forward to hearing your opinion.
With this in mind, best regards and: Grinding with attitude!
