Here the music plays

Hard to believe. About four weeks ago we learned that we Swabians are probably the oldest cultural people in the world. In the middle of May the sensational discovery of the oldest sculpture of a woman was announced. And now the archaeological team around Tübingen professor Nicholas Conard finds the oldest musical instrument in the world in the cave "Hollow Rock" at Schelklingen. A small bone flute, a good 220 mm long and at least 35,000 years old, according to the Tübingen experts. I am thrilled, after all, Haas Schleifmaschinen has its headquarters in the music city of Trossingen; Bob Dylan has already purchased his harmonica from here. And when I look at the flute, I immediately wonder whether something like this could also be produced on a Multigrind® CB. It would depend on the experiment. After all, the music also plays here in Trossingen when it comes to grinding technology!
