I´m sure that our founder, Adelbert Haas, would be pleased about the newly established Adelbert-Haas-Strasse. He went into business for himself at the age of 34 and began building universal grinding machines for clock mechanics, precision engi­neering and medical technology industries. 

Just like today, there were demanding customers back then who placed great value on both the preci­sion of machines as well as their simplicity of operation. Adelbert Haas knew from the beginning that he would only be successful if he fulfilled his customers´ strictest demands – no ifs, ands or buts. 

This exceptionally gifted specialist refused to compromise when it came to the quality of “his” Haas machines. I can well imagine that his hikes through the Black Forest and here in the Baar area provided him with the reflection necessary to tackle many of his most difficult challenges.
