Just 1.5 percentage points behind the winner, Thomas Bader took 2nd place in the Intermediate class at the 2012 German Championships in motor aerobatics. Thus he rises into the next higher class Advance.

Thomas convinced the judges above all with his own aerobatics program developed by him and showed them how to compensate missing horsepower with practical intelligence on the joystick (typical Swabian engineer!). "Anyone who uses the yo-yo effect during flight to take the power and energy from one figure to the next will make up for some of the engine's advantages," says Thomas.
