As connoisseurs know, Currywurst is not only a vital staple food in Berlin, but also in my home country, where it is often served with a french fries barrier.

There was once a chancellor from Hanover who, according to legend, snuck out of the house at night to cheat the strict vegetarian regime of his then wife at the snack bar with currywurst and bottled beer.

I assume that the former chancellor would be just as enthusiastic about the fully automatic currywurst machine with Siemens control as I was. Siemens had this great machine built by trainees in cooperation with the Saarland University of Applied Sciences (HTW).

Which shows again: Nothing is too difficult for the engineer. Now I'm seriously considering whether we should equip our next Multigrind® sander with an integrated fully automatic Currywurst unit...
