A lost belt grinder ensures super surfaces

Implants with fabulous surfaces

It takes an average of 0.6 seconds from thinking to pronouncing a word. This is what neuroscientists at Harvard University have discovered. Pretty fast, isn't it? I have no idea how long it took our development manager Charlie Braun to come up with the term "Ilmentritschel".

Haas Schleifmaschinen: "Ilmentritschel" - Ensures perfect surfaces.

All I know is that from the initial idea of integrating a belt grinder into our Multigrind® CB to the successful test run, it was pretty fixed. In the meantime, the ilmentritschel is already running in several Multigrind® CB's and ensures fabulously homogeneous surface qualities, for example in the manufacture of knee joint implants. And the original Swabian name "Ilmentritschel" even reaches our customers in Hamburg in no time at all.
