Your duties
- Support in the area of new and further development of our grinding software Multigrind® Horizon
- Assistance in the development of concepts and solution approaches, such as
- Development, simulation and support of the testing of new 5-axis machining concepts
- Interfaces and networking aspects in connection with OPC-UA, ERP systems or automation solutions
- Usability issues in the interface development of the Multigrind® Horizon grinding software
- Processing of smaller development tasks to improve the organizational structure, such as apps and other applications
- Testing the grinding software as well as the interfaces in operational practice and documenting the results
- Carrying out project work with customer contact
Requirements / Background
- Studies with focus on automation technology, mathematics or computer science as well as offshoots thereof such as media informatics
- Good analytical skills, an independent, result-oriented and clearly structured way of working
- Good knowledge in all Microsoft Office applications, as well as possibly first experiences with the following programming systems (C++, Qt, Tia-Portal)
- Good knowledge of German and English
