Tools from the Bergisches Land

It does not happen too often that I read something in the newspaper about the Bergisches Land, my homeland. Therefore I read the article about the cradle of the tool industry in the Süddeutsche Zeitung with interest. The journalist reports about the Research Association for Tools and Materials in Remscheid. This research company was founded in 1952 by the tool manufacturers of the Remscheid region in order to promote the tool industry as a driving force for innovation. This gives medium-sized companies without their own research department the opportunity to research new technologies. Great thing, I think. You can read the article here if you like.
