Machining in aircraft construction

Just in time for the Paris Air Show 2015, which starts today in a week's time, the trade magazine maschine+werkzeug presents a practical overview of the topic "Materials in Aircraft" in its current issue. There we read, for example, that the titanium content in an Airbus A350 WXB today is around 14 percent and that alloys such as Inconel 718, which are difficult to machine, are used in the aircraft turbine.

How to machine these difficult-to-machine alloys precisely and economically? For example, with our precise Multigrind® CA and Multigrind® CB grinding machines, which are valued by well-known engine manufacturers and suppliers for their performance. If you would like to talk to us about grinding processes in turbine production, we look forward to your visit. You will find us at the Paris Air Show 2015 (15.-21.6.2015) in hall 4, booth A16.

See you soon. Grinding with attitude!
