High demands are placed on the geometry and surface quality of a fir tree cutter. No wonder, since milling the blade grooves of aircraft turbine blades requires the greatest possible dimensional accuracy.

The manufacture of such a precision tool for machining is therefore one of the more demanding grinding tasks. How our customers solve this task on a Multigrind® grinding machine from Haas can be seen live this week at the GrindTec in Augsburg. We will show you the machining of a christmas tree cutter on a five-axis Multigrind® CA grinding machine.
