For biting - Grinding machine Multigrind® CB XL.

Machine builders like to say that we only have an eye for technology and that coolant flows through our veins. Far from it! Take a look at what Robert Riffert's design office has surprised us with these days: our Multigrind® CB XL completely made of chocolate. We would like to thank Robert Riffert and his team warmly and take our hat off to the chocolatiers of the "Genusswerkstatt" in St. Georgen, who designed the masterpiece from chocolate.

Workpieces up to 3,200 mm length

The Multigrind® CB XL is our newest flagship and was delivered a few weeks ago to the first customer who uses it to grind particularly large broaches. The Multigrind® CB XL is available in four different lengths. With the largest machine table, workpieces with a length of 3,200 mm can be machined with the usual precision. The solid cast mineral bed, four special steady rests to support the workpieces and the high-precision Haas linear drives in the machine table ensure this. The whole system is safely enclosed and equipped with four sliding doors for easy loading and unloading and set-up. The travels of the axes are generously dimensioned:

• X-axis: up to 3,200 mm
• Z-axis: 500 mm
• Y-axis: 410/850 mm
• C axis: +70°/-250°.
