Support for the Ukraine Air Rescue comes from Trossingen

Ukraine Air Rescue: Marie-Sophie Maier-Wember and Ingo Maier on their way to Rzeszow.

Ukraine Air Rescue has received active support from Trossingen. Marie-Sophie Maier-Wember, Ingo Maier and Dirk Wember support the work of the aid organizations München Hilft Ukraine, Apotheker ohne Grenzen and Blau-Gelbes Kreuz. Not only through donations, but also in a very practical way. The pilots participate in the airlift and fly urgently needed medicines to the border.

Blau-Gelbes Kreuz e.V.: The dedicated on-site volunteers.

The three pilots took off from Donaueschingen at 1:30 p.m.. The crew reached the Polish base in Rzeszow at around 5:15 p.m., after a stopover in Oberschleißheim. In Oberschleißheim, the pilots received additional relief supplies collected by München hilft Ukraine e.V. for onward transport to Ukraine. In Rzeszow, the pilots handed over the medical equipment to the volunteers of the Blau-Gelbes Kreuz before starting their return journey to Donaueschingen. Around 9:00 p.m., the crew landed back in Donaueschingen. On board were refugees who are now safe in the region for the time being.
