Four years ago, at the GrindTec 2012, we presented our grinding software Multigrind® Horizon for the first time and thus attracted the curiosity and interest of machine construction colleagues and users alike.

Now, four years after the successful market launch, we are pleased that a well-known grinding machine manufacturer has decided to use our software on its machines. Wallram Grindtec Srl (Lizzini) is a specialist for external and internal cylindrical grinding and will supply its cylindrical grinding machines with Multigrind® Horizon in the future.

Our software team around Wolfram Hermle adapted our grinding software to the applications of cylindrical grinding, of course in close coordination with Lizzini. In the course of the project, it became clear that Lizzini's application know-how in cylindrical grinding in combination with our software is an interesting technical offer for suppliers and producers.

Erich Börschig, Sales Manager of Wallram Grindtec Srl, is convinced of this important step for Lizzini: "With this modern programming tool we are opening up new ways to more flexibility and customer benefit. This will enable us to further expand the high-end segment and enter into promising market niches in cylindrical grinding.
