Strong endurance runner

In the future, the new 35,000 high-frequency spindle, which is now available for our Multigrind® CA and Multigrind® CB grinding machines, will suffice for this. This high-speed spindle is a powerful endurance runner with impressive technical data: The spindle motor (3 x 100 amps!) has an output of 21 kW, the torque is constant at 20.1 Nm up to the rated speed.

The decisive factor is the ratio between high torque and high bearing rigidity in the lower speed range in combination with a maximum speed of 35,000 rpm.

The new spindle is water-cooled and has an HSK 50 interface. Instead of oil mist, an oil-air mixture is used to lubricate each bearing with exactly the right amount of oil. The rotating parts are all finely balanced and some of them have hybrid bearings.

Our design keeps the new spindle, which we naturally manufacture in-house, interesting especially for users who value great flexibility of their grinding machine and, wherever possible, complete machining.
