Metalworking in a different way
Karl Poralla: Iron sculpture - "Gehalten" in Ammerbuch-Entringen.
Karl Poralla: Portrait.
No, today the blog is not about grinding and grinding machines, but about a completely different art of metalworking. In Breitenholz near Tübingen, iron sculptures by the Entringer artist Karl Poralla will be on display from Sunday onwards.
The raw material for his interesting works is usually found in scrap yards, where finds of old iron are discovered by chance, which he then combines in a creative process into something new. If you don't have anything planned for Sunday, the vernissage will take place at 2 pm at the Kunstschule am Schönbuch:
Opening: Sunday, 04 May 2014, 14.00 to 17.00 hrs.
Tour: Until 23 May every Friday from 15.00 to 18.00 and by appointment.
Address: Art Road Way Art School at Schönbuch, Raiffeisenstraße 1-3, 72119 Ammerbuch-Breitenholz.
I wish you a happy May Day!
