Multigrind® Media library: Training material on preventive maintenance

For several months now, Haas Schleifmaschinen's Multigrind® Media library has been offering the opportunity to deepen know-how about the Multigrind® series with the help of detailed training documents and to look up any questions you may have about grinding.

Especially when it comes to basics such as preventive maintenance, Patrick Helmecke sees enormous benefits in the training modules. "Everything that our customers need to know about preventive maintenance is included here - from basic operation to regular functional checks and a maintenance plan."

"So when our customers show their field of activity to a new colleague, they can take the training documents and look up again how the machine axes move or how precisely the tool and coolant protection can be clamped in the spindle, released and changed manually. In addition to these basics, the safety instructions for the different types of danger are also documented in detail. In addition, a maintenance plan provides an overview of all maintenance work that must be carried out at regular intervals, as well as cleaning the machine.

For Haas Schleifmaschinen, precision doesn't stop at the workpiece, but also concerns the safe handling of Multigrind® series grinders. "Especially when it comes to preventive maintenance, the well-being of man and machine depends on attention to detail," says Patrick Helmecke.

The training documents also contain detailed explanations of the individual steps. The list of safety relevant components is long. These include the door interlock, the EMERGENCY STOP button and the fluid containers. The well-being of man and machine also depends on the operating pressure, the air filters and the engine performance.

Our customers can find the instructions for preventive maintenance, as well as many other training documents, in our Multigrind® Media library. There they can access the relevant documents after a training session, for example, or gain access to all documents in the media library.
