GrindDate 2017 at Haas Schleifmaschinen: To the table, please!

Haas Schleifmaschinen: Technology and aesthetics - machine table with recessed guide rail.

Large and precise: Machine table

This can also be seen on our GrindDate 2017: a machine table with a length of 2,000 mm (W = 500 mm, H = 180 mm) and a hardened guide rail recessed in the table. This allows exact positioning of the steady rest and tailstock. The two steady rests are equipped with finely adjustable quills and interchangeable parts for adaptation to different workpieces, depending on what is to be ground. The number of steady rests used can vary according to the dimensions of the workpiece. The tailstock can be finely adjusted in the Y and X direction and has a spring-loaded sleeve whose spring force can be adjusted by means of a handwheel. How to grind with maximum precision and efficiency? What else can we see at GrindDate 2017 from 27 to 29 April? For example our new shelf magazine Tool Tower with 70 places for tools. There will also be grinding demonstrations and interesting lectures on the topic that moves us all the most: How can you grind with maximum precision and efficiency? We grind for you on these grinding machines:

  • Grinding of milling cutters on a Multigrind® CU
  • Grinding of step drills on a Multigrind® CU
  • Circumference and profile machining of indexable inserts on a Multigrind® CA
  • Production of low-pressure turbine blades on a Multigrind® CA with large tool changer
  • Manufacture of a compressor rotor on a Multigrind® CB
  • Circumferential machining of an indexable insert on a WAIDA APX 103
