What is the GoPro doing in the grinding machine? Here is the resolution:
 

A few months ago we wanted to film a particularly demanding grinding process in an extra-long Multigrind® CB grinding machine. With the normal camera, we couldn't get as close to the workpiece as we wanted. So our film team mounted a GoPro in the working area and we got exactly the perspective we wanted.

Unfortunately, we cannot show the film here for reasons of secrecy. Only this much: The workpiece is more than 1,000 mm long, quite heavy and is processed in 4 process steps (cylindrical grinding, surface grinding, profile/form grinding and linear grinding). And that is - Attention! - in only two set-ups with minimum tolerances. A real advantage for our customers!
