A Tea for the New Year
IMGUR: The journey is the reward.
Teahouse with a View
We wish you a happy, healthy, and successful 2014, full of interesting projects and exciting moments! And for all our Schleifblog readers that really like to live life on the edge, we recommend a visit to the teahouse on the southern peak of Mt. Hua (also known as Hua Shan).
Mt. Hua is located about 120 kilometers east of Xi’an in China’s Shaanxi province. And the small teahouse is situated atop its southern peak, 2,101 meters up – and the view is breathtaking. To call the way up to the teahouse breathtaking would be a bit of an understatement, however. A path made of simple wooden planks running directly along the face of the mountain lead up into the dizzying heights – secured only by a chain that fearless travelers can use to hold on to with their sweat-soaked hands.
The path is considered one of the most dangerous in the world and is described in more detail here. You can safely use the proverb „The journey is the reward“ literally when describing this trip.

Showroom with a View
It goes without saying, dear readers, that you can also enjoy a mug of delicious green tea with us here in Trossingen as well. The journey to Haas might not be as spectacular as the path up Mt. Hua, but we promise to offer interesting solutions and exciting discussions on the topic of grinding technology in our new showroom. And the view here is also nothing to sneeze at, I am right?
We wish you a great start to the new year and – keep grinding with attitude!
